All our coatings are single-component, require no catalyzation, can be applied without restriction in humidity´s to 99% on damp surfaces. They can be fast, after application, immersed or subjected to fog, rain, snow, or condensate. They have no dew-point restrictions, and can even be applied in temperatures as low as -15°C. Many major painting projects are delayed by unforgiving application restrictions of typical epoxy, urethane or inorganic coating.
MCU-Coatings removes these restrictions and still yields better corrosion resistance and coating life. These are not our claims, but proven facts; proven on 5 kilometers bridge in harsh winter climates. Moisture cure Polyurea (MCU) corrosion protection coating
To cover 99% of all the different areas of typical projects such as refineries, ships, platforms, civil and petrochemical facilities, traditional coatings will need 20 or more different types of paints to cover all these different areas. MCU-Coatings only will need three or four types of paint and only one thinner.
